Hi it’s Kristy ‘Mad’sen. Maddenda is the addenda to my story. It is the expression of what my soul has been turning me toward my entire life —an appreciation of beauty and a love of design.
Maddenda’s mission is to curate ‘soulfully storied’ furniture and home decor pieces for exceptional homes. Each piece is carefully sourced with an eye for:
timeless craftsmanship
an authentic story
unique design
(Or ideally a combination of all these elements!)
Just like you, each piece has a unique story. The addenda to each piece’s story are the rituals and traditions you experience with that piece in your home.

a home for your piece?
Maybe you’re not looking for a piece for your home. Instead you have a piece, but no longer have a home for it. Reach out. I am always looking to buy pieces for Maddenda’s collection. Of particular interest are pieces:
from the early to late 20th century. Specifically, art deco, mid-century modern, bauhaus and postmodern design styles, or;
with unusual shapes and forms, or;
that are unique and one-of-a-kind, or;
with a story, or;
made by local or newcomer artisans and makers.
