My lifelong passion for interior design stems from an early appreciation for beauty, a desire to create, and a fascination with well-designed spaces. I was inspired by design shows like Debbie Travis’ Painted House, Candice Olsen’s Divine Design, and Nate Berkus’ early work with Oprah. Nate and his partner Jeremiah Brent remain my design icons.

I've been immersed in the world of interior design, meticulously planning and styling every space I've inhabited. I’ve worked with the builders of my current home and cabin to design the interiors and I'm currently collaborating on the design of my new home. My various projects over the years mean I have established relationships with various trades, craftspeople and artisans - ensuring your project benefits from skilled craftsmanship.
I also have a unique obsession with floor planning; my camera roll is filled with screenshots of efficient and functional layouts. In addition, I’ve taken a course in SketchUp - a 3D modeling software - that I can use to expertly handle all your space planning needs.

A Worldly Perspective
Aside from design, travel is my other love. I’ve travelled to nearly 30 countries; travel is a constant source of inspiration. While traveling to other countries I am constantly taking in the detailed architecture and skilled craftsmanship of days gone by. Whether it’s the beautiful marble floors of Italy or the ironwork of NYC brownstones, I am always taking in details to incorporate into projects. In addition, I love exploring markets and vintage stores when I travel, even bringing back treasures. Maddenda does offer private sourcing and concierge shopping for Guild members while on buying trips.
